Role Description The Lead Mechanic is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and executing fleet maintenance and repair activities for corporate clients. This role includes diagnosing mechanical and technical issues, planning and supervising preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring timely completion of repair and service tasks. The Lead Mechanic will coordinate closely with service staff and customer representatives, provide technical guidance, and maintain accurate records of maintenance, parts usage, and work orders. The role also involves reviewing estimates, advising on repair priorities, supporting insurance claim documentation, and upholding safety and quality standards in all maintenance work.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair across diverse fleet types.
• Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Hands-on experience working with Heavy Equipment and commercial vehicles.
• Advanced Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience leading or supervising mechanics or technicians in a workshop or fleet environment.
• Solid understanding of automotive diagnostic tools, service procedures, and safety practices.
• Ability to coordinate remotely with clients and internal teams using digital tools and clear written and verbal communication.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in automobile engineering, mechanical technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple work orders and deadlines.
• Familiarity with documentation for estimates, billing, and insurance claims is an advantage.
