Lead Technical Product Manager

Lead Technical Product Manager | Dublin | €736/day

Our client is seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to drive the development of technical platform capabilities, shape product strategy and deliver high-impact features within a large-scale technology environment.

This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension and possible permanent opportunities, based in Dublin with a hybrid working model requiring 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage product roadmaps, translating business needs and technology trends into actionable platform features.

• Own product requirements documentation, including PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Manage technical backlogs and prioritise features based on customer needs, business value and technical considerations.

• Work closely with engineering, UX, technical programme management and business stakeholders to deliver scalable platform capabilities.

• Use KPIs, runtime metrics and customer feedback to measure performance and inform product decisions.

• Support feature releases, go-to-market planning, launch readiness and post-launch reviews.

• Identify risks, monitor platform performance and drive continuous improvement.

• Evaluate technical trade-offs and ensure testability is incorporated into product design and development.

• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally in a technical or platform-focused environment.

• Experience managing technical products, platform capabilities and product backlogs.

• Strong experience developing PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria and product roadmaps.

• Understanding of APIs, software development processes and platform services.

• Proven ability to define KPIs/OKRs and make data-driven prioritisation decisions.

• Experience managing delivery across engineering, operations, security, compliance and business teams.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

• Location: Dublin, Ireland

• Working model: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in the office

• Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension

• Day rate: Up to €736

• Working hours: Standard Irish business hours
