Legal Counsel

🧩 Hitapps is a GameDev company specializing in Puzzle Games. We have several successful products with a combined total of over 200M+ downloads, and we are regularly featured in the top charts in the Games section worldwide. Our TOP project is Solitaire Associations.

Currently, we are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel whom we will entrust with the everything legal from corporate structure to the terms our players agree to.

Your Role:

• Provide legal and operational support to the company;
• Enforce legal and operational procedures, including contract templates, approval workflows, and internal policies;
• Handle corporate management and keep group entities in good standing;
• Protect brands and IP: trademark registration, rights to game content, and action against infringements;
• Lead tax planning for the group in cooperation with external tax advisors;
• Ensure product compliance with applicable regulations (data protection, App Store and Google Play policies, consumer protection) and maintain player-facing documents (ToS, Privacy Policy).

What makes you a perfect fit?

• 5+ years of legal experience, including at least 2–3 years in-house in gamedev,;
• Bachelor’s degree in Law;
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property, data protection, and digital product regulation;
• AI fluency and flexibility;
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills in English;
• Experience working directly with founders and senior management, explaining legal risks in plain language, and proposing business solutions;
• Independence, a structured approach, and the ability to prioritize a heavy workload.
