Our Client Company is a respected technology, education and training provider
committed to empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills needed
to excel in the Data Science field.
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Both On-site and Remote Instructor/Mentor to lead a 13-week training program in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will have current knowledge and teaching/mentoring
experience in all aspects of Machine and Deep learning including Supervised
Learning Models, Unsupervised Learning Models, Neural Networks (ANN,
CNN, RNN), Model Evaluation, Optimization Techniques, Text Mining, Natural
Language Processing, Model Deployment on Streamlit and AWS SageMaker.
For instructor role, you can apply for all aspects or any of the parts
separately; for mentor role, in all aspects is required.
Position Overview
:
As an instructor
, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training
and lectures on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language
Processing and Generative AI, Model Deployment on Streamlit and AWS
SageMaker topics.
As a mentor
, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive mentoring
on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing and
Generative AI, Model Deployment on Streamlit and AWS SageMaker topics.
These roles are specifically designed for both on-site training in Saudi Arabia and online training. For both cases, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our regional students gain a deep understanding of these technologies and can apply them effectively.
Classes consist of
5 sessions per week
, from
9:00 am to 12:30 pm (AST,
UTC/GMT+3)
Mentoring activities will be held from
13:30 pm to 17:30 pm (AST,
UTC/GMT+3)
Instructors will teach
Sunday through Thursday, 20 hours per week.
Mentors will guide
Sunday through Thursday, 20 hours per week.
The program
will start in
April and September
.
Relocation is required as the course will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for on-site type
.
Key Responsibilities
:
Lectures and Workshops
: Conduct engaging and informative onsite/online
lectures and workshops on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural
Language Processing and Generative AI, Model Deployment on
Streamlit and AWS SageMaker topics.
Mentoring
: Conduct engaging and informative onsite/online mentoring and
workshops on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language
Processing and Generative AI, Model Deployment on Streamlit and AWS
SageMaker topics.
Curriculum Development
: Collaborate with our curriculum
development team to create, adapt, and enhance training materials,
including presentations, handouts, and assignments to suit the specific
needs and cultural context of students in Saudi Arabia.
Practical Labs
: Lead practical hands-on sessions to help students gain
valuable hands-on experience using the mentioned technologies and
tools in a Saudi Arabian setting.
Individual Support
: Provide individualized guidance and support to
students, addressing their questions and challenges, and ensuring they
are adapting the curriculum effectively for the local context.
Assessment and Evaluation
: Design and administer assessments
and evaluations to measure student progress, and provide constructive
feedback, taking into account the unique considerations of students in
Saudi Arabia.
Stay Updated
: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and
advancements in data science, tailoring the content to meet the
specific demands and preferences of students in Saudi Arabia.
Quality Assurance
: Ensure that the training program meets the
highest standards of quality and effectiveness, considering cultural and
professional nuances in Saudi Arabia.
Record Keeping
: Maintain records of attendance, student
performance, and other relevant data in compliance with Saudi Arabian
regulations.
Collaboration
: Collaborate with the management team to ensure that
training programs align with industry demands and the needs of
students in Saudi Arabia.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Skills Required
:
Passion for teaching and mentoring in a diverse cultural environment.
Technical background in Machine Learning, Math, and Python
Programming.
Expert level of proficiency in using Python Machine Learning packages
[Pandas, Numpy, Stats, Scipy, Maptplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-learn,
Streamlit], experience with TensorFlow and Keras, and AWS
SageMaker.
Experience with NLP applications of ML and DL (RNN Models), and pre-
trained models (LLMs).
Experience in instructional design and teaching/mentoring technical
courses.
Experience in preparing well-designed slides and hands-on notebooks.
Follow the general progress of the student, be in coordination and
communication with the students at all times.
Trains students with high-quality practical exercises that cover many of
the ML, DL, NLP, MLD topics they will encounter in their technical
interview process.
Assists students with hands-on and answers questions to support their
learning.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up.
Ability to relate and interact with people from various backgrounds.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, considering cultural
and language considerations in Saudi Arabia.
Creative problem-solving with proactive focus and foresight.
Outstanding written, verbal, and networking skills.
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks professionally.
Meets attendance and punctuality standards.
Must adhere to the class schedule.
Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
Excellent communication skills for interaction with beginner-level
students and professionals.
Proficiency Git, Slack, Zoom, and Peardeck.
English language proficiency level of at least C1.
Nice to Have
:
Previous experience as an instructor or mentor in AI, Machine Learning,
Data Analysis, Data Science, or similar.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
Experience
:
2+ years of experience delivering training or mentoring to groups.
Education & Certifications:Bachelors in STEM / AI / CS, or equivalent industry experience in
Software Development, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
