Maintenance Specialist

Role Description The Maintenance Specialist role at Platform AI-geletterd in de zorg is a part-time, remote position responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of equipment and systems used to deliver platform services. On a day-to-day basis, the Maintenance Specialist will perform routine maintenance checks, coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, and carry out repairs for hardware and software tools used by internal teams and external partners. The role includes diagnosing technical issues, troubleshooting system malfunctions, documenting maintenance activities, and collaborating with technical and operational staff to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Specialist will also help refine maintenance procedures and recommend improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and continuity of service in a digital healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to ensure reliable operation of tools and systems.
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance to implement schedules and processes that reduce breakdowns and service interruptions.
• Demonstrated ability in general Maintenance and Troubleshooting to quickly identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
• Basic understanding of healthcare or digital health environments, or willingness to learn about AI-related tools in healthcare.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, strong documentation practices, and familiarity with maintenance tracking or ticketing systems.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in maintenance, electronics, IT support, or a related technical field is beneficial.
