Compensation Specialist

Role Description The Compensation Specialist role at Le Kiif is a part-time, remote position focused on designing, maintaining, and improving compensation programs. Daily activities include analyzing market data and internal pay practices, supporting the development and review of compensation structures, and evaluating jobs to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. The role involves collaborating with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on pay decisions, preparing compensation reports and dashboards, and ensuring compliance with relevant compensation policies and regulations. The Compensation Specialist will also contribute to compensation planning cycles, such as merit reviews and incentive programs, and help document and refine compensation processes and guidelines.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Compensation Planning and Compensation Management to support pay programs and annual review cycles.
• Experience with Job Evaluation and Compensation Structures to ensure fair, consistent, and competitive pay practices.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, build compensation models, and present clear insights to stakeholders.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and HR systems (e.g., Excel, HRIS, or compensation tools) to manage and analyze compensation data.
• Knowledge of compensation best practices, relevant regulations, and market benchmarking methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible way.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines reliably.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; professional HR or compensation certification is a plus.
