Role Description The Manager Bookings (Export/Import) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and coordinating export and import bookings for international shipments. This role manages daily communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams to secure space, confirm schedules, and ensure accurate documentation for global trade. The manager monitors shipment status, resolves issues or delays, and ensures compliance with international regulations and company policies. Additional responsibilities include analyzing booking trends, supporting sales and business planning activities, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Export operations and International Trade processes and regulations.
• Experience in International Business and cross-border logistics coordination.
• Skills in Business Planning and Sales to support revenue growth and customer relationship management.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, or logistics services is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with booking systems, transportation management software, and standard office tools.
• Relevant post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field is an asset.
