Role Overview: To manage Business Banking regulatory reporting governance, control monitoring and regulatory implementation activities by coordinating reporting requirements, validating regulatory data, tracking remediation actions and engaging relevant stakeholders in order to ensure reporting obligations are delivered in line with approved policies, regulatory expectations and the Bank’s risk and control standards In this role, your key responsibilities include : Manage Business Banking regulatory reporting governance activities by coordinating reporting requirements, monitoring adherence to approved processes and ensuring reporting obligations are understood, documented and tracked across relevant business areas Review regulatory reporting inputs, dependencies and control requirements to support accurate, complete and auditable reporting outcomes in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations Review and validate Business Banking regulatory reporting data by assessing completeness, consistency and source alignment in order to identify gaps, exceptions and control weaknesses before submission or escalation Monitor data quality issues and reporting control trends to support corrective actions, strengthen governance discipline and reduce recurring reporting exceptions Coordinate regulatory change implementation arising from new regulations, notices, audit observations and improvement areas by maintaining action trackers, monitoring deliverables and following up with accountable stakeholders to ensure closure within agreed requirements Analyse gaps identified through internal reviews, external observations or regulatory changes and support the implementation of sustainable control enhancements across Business Banking Develop, maintain and present regulatory reporting management information, dashboards and status updates to enable oversight of submission readiness, exception trends, remediation progress and emerging risks Provide clear reporting insights to relevant stakeholders and governance forums to support informed decision making, prioritisation and escalation of material issues Provide guidance and support to Business Banking stakeholders on regulatory reporting governance, control requirements and documentation standards in order to strengthen understanding and encourage consistent implementation Liaise with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations and other relevant teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues and ensure regulatory reporting matters are managed through appropriate governance channels Maintain regulatory reporting records, evidence packs, action logs and governance documentation to support audit readiness, traceability and effective oversight Ensure documentation reflects approved requirements, stakeholder decisions, issue resolution and control actions so that regulatory reporting activities can be evidenced and reviewed when required The ideal candidate should have the following experience: At least 6 years of experience in Banking or Financial Services, with experience in regulatory reporting, governance, business control, risk and control, management information or regulatory implementation Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related discipline Regulatory Reporting Governance Business Banking Products and Processes Risk and Control Frameworks Regulatory Data Validation Management Information and Dashboard Reporting Issue and Remediation Tracking Regulatory Change Implementation Governance Documentation and Record Keeping Stakeholder Management Audit and Regulatory Review Support Policy and Process Interpretation Advanced Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Applications Analytical Thinking What we offer: Competitive Salary: In addition, all employees are eligible to participate in one of our rewarding variable pay plans.
