JOB TITLE: Marketing Assistant LOCATION: Jakarta, hybrid (aligned to UAE timezone) CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent, full-time REPORTING TO: Senior Account Manager PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in enabling client-facing teams to deliver high-quality, timely, and technically sound social media outputs through strong project management, administrative rigour, and up-to-date platform expertise. Sitting at the intersection of Creative, Account Management, and Social Media execution, this role ensures campaigns are well planned, accurately implemented, consistently published, and continuously optimised in line with platform best practice. The successful candidate will act as a reliable delivery engine, maintaining momentum across accounts, supporting day-to-day coordination, and proactively contributing insights on platform updates, trends, and opportunities to strengthen campaign performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project-manage social media deliverables across multiple accounts, ensuring clear briefs, timelines, dependencies, and approvals are in place to support smooth delivery. Own social media-related account administration, including content calendars, publishing schedules, asset tracking, and reporting timelines. Prepare regular performance reports, analysing metrics against objectives and identifying key insights, trends, and opportunities for optimisation. Manage day-to-day community management, monitoring comments and messages, responding appropriately, and escalating issues or sentiment risks where required. Attend client meetings, prepare materials in advance, and ensure notes and actions are documented and shared promptly. Stay up to date with social media platform updates, trends, and emerging formats, proactively sharing relevant insights with internal teams. Support Account Managers with status updates, reporting, and delivery confirmations, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Ensure quality control across all outputs prior to publishing, including checks on copy, formatting, tagging, links, tone of voice, and platform suitability. Execute and manage social media publishing across platforms, ensuring all content is delivered accurately, on time, and in line with approved formats and specifications. Act as the day-to-day coordination point between clients, Creative Services and Account Management, maintaining visibility of work in progress and proactively flagging risks or delays. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 1–3 years’ experience in an agency, in-house, or digital environment supporting social media, account management, or campaign delivery. Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats, and best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical, execution-focused role. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines, priorities, and stakeholders. High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across content, publishing, and reporting. Clear communication skills, with the ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into actionable briefs. Proactive and reliable, with the ability to respond effectively to urgent requests and fast-moving situations. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across Creative and Account teams and contribute to shared outcomes. Comfortable working in a client-facing environment and aligned to UAE working hours. WHY JOIN US? Be part of a global, growing organisation with exposure across multiple markets.
