ROLE PURPOSE

Marketing & Partnerships Team is responsible for increasing awareness of LDF programmes and helping the Foundation build meaningful relationships with individuals, businesses, organisations and potential partners who can support our work.

The team will promote LDF programmes and campaigns, identify potential sponsors, donors and partners, initiate conversations, and help create opportunities for financial, in-kind and strategic support.

The role goes beyond sharing content or promoting campaigns. Team members are expected to actively look for opportunities, connect LDF with the right people and organisations, and help build relationships that can support LDF’s programmes and missions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote LDF programmes, missions and campaigns across relevant platforms, communities and networks.
• Identify and reach potential sponsors, donors and partners, including businesses, organisations, foundations, schools and individuals.
• Research and build a pipeline of potential sponsorship, partnership, donation and in-kind support opportunities.
• Initiate conversations with prospects and introduce LDF and its programmes clearly and respectfully.
• Build relationships with potential supporters and follow up consistently on promising opportunities.
• Leverage personal, professional and community networks to expand LDF’s reach and create new connections.
• Identify relevant communities, organisations, events and platforms where LDF can increase visibility and build relationships.
• Track outreach activities, contacts, responses and next steps.
• Refer qualified prospects and significant partnership opportunities to the appropriate LDF lead for further engagement.
• Look for creative and practical ways to increase awareness, support and partnership opportunities for LDF programmes.
