Media Buying Assistant

Job Title : Media Buying Assistant Location : Remote Reports To : Founder / Agency Leadership Work Shift : Flexible Working Hours : Part-time, starting at 20 hours per week Job Description We are seeking a Media Buying Assistant to support the day-to-day execution of a growing paid social consulting agency. This role is designed to reduce operational and production bottlenecks by supporting ad build requests, reporting preparation, tracker updates, file organization, and other recurring backend tasks that keep client delivery moving smoothly. The role will work closely with the founders and help create a more organized, repeatable workflow across client accounts. This is not a pure media buyer role. The core of the position is support and execution. The ideal candidate will be able to take structured direction, build ads from provided briefs and copy toolkits, prepare reporting materials, keep assets and trackers organized, and support a reliable agency operating rhythm. The role may also support light creator or influencer outreach as a secondary responsibility. Over time, there may be room to take on more responsibility if the person is strong and the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Paid Social Creative Support Build ad deliverables based on provided campaign briefs, copy, and asset direction Support creative production by assembling ads and preparing assets for launch or internal review Follow templates, campaign instructions, and workflow expectations for ad creation Help maintain a reliable production rhythm when multiple clients need creatives at the same time Reporting & Data Support Pull performance data from ad accounts and related sources based on internal guidelines Prepare reporting decks and organize top-performing creative data for review Populate templates and reporting materials so leadership can focus on higher-level analysis and strategy Maintain accuracy and consistency across recurring reporting workflows Operations & Workflow Coordination Organize incoming creative assets into clean folder structures and trackers Update internal trackers, documents, and project systems with accurate data entry Support general backend agency operations that improve delivery consistency and reduce bottlenecks Help maintain a more streamlined SOP-driven workflow as the team grows Administrative & Process Support Handle recurring execution tasks that support client delivery and internal operations Follow documented processes and help keep workflows clean, organized, and easy to hand off Support implementation of new systems, dashboards, or AI-assisted workflows as processes evolve Creator & Outreach Support Assist with light creator or influencer outreach using provided templates and direction Support copy-and-paste style outreach and relationship tracking as needed Maintain organized records of outreach status and communications Qualifications Required Experience supporting paid social, digital marketing, ecommerce, or agency workflows Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable handling recurring administrative and operational tasks with consistency Ability to follow instructions, templates, and structured processes closely Strong written English communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Reliable, responsive, and able to manage part-time agency support work independently Nice to Have Experience assembling ad creatives or supporting paid social campaign execution Experience pulling marketing data or preparing reporting decks Experience working inside a paid social or ecommerce agency environment Familiarity with creator outreach, asset organization, or workflow coordination Comfort using AI tools to improve productivity and execution speed
