Medical Director

Role Description This part-time Medical Director role is a hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site responsibilities and flexibility for some work from home. The Medical Director will oversee clinical governance, provide medical leadership, and ensure adherence to best-practice standards across relevant specialties. Day-to-day tasks include supervising clinical protocols, reviewing complex cases, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and collaborating with physicians to optimize patient care. The role involves participating in strategic planning, contributing to quality and safety initiatives, and supporting education and training activities for clinical staff. The Medical Director will also engage with internal and external stakeholders to align services with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine with proven clinical experience and board certification or equivalent qualification.
• Specialized expertise in one or more areas such as Cardiology, Neurology, or Oncology, with up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices.
• Demonstrated ability in working with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide collaborative, patient-centered care.
• Advanced communication, leadership, and decision-making skills, including the ability to manage complex clinical and operational issues.
• Relevant postgraduate training (e.g., MD, DO, or equivalent) and eligibility for licensure in the United Arab Emirates.
• Experience in clinical governance, quality improvement, or medical administration is highly beneficial.
• Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and culturally sensitive care in a diverse environment.
