Microsoft D365 F&O Commerce Configuration Lead

Role Description The Microsoft D365 F&O Commerce Configuration Lead will manage the configuration, customization, and optimization of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce modules to support business processes. This contract role is based in Malmo in a hybrid arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading solution design workshops, translating business requirements into D365 F&O Commerce configurations, and overseeing integration with other systems and cloud services. The role will partner with business stakeholders and consultants to document processes, resolve functional and technical issues, and ensure alignment with solution architecture and best practices. The Configuration Lead will also support testing, user training, and post-deployment improvements to maintain system performance and usability.

• Candidates should possess Business Process knowledge, with experience mapping and optimizing finance, retail, and commerce workflows in an ERP environment.
• Candidates should possess Consulting skills, including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and delivering advisory support to business and technical teams.
• Candidates should possess Solution Architecture skills, with the ability to design end-to-end D365 F&O Commerce solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational standards.
• Candidates should possess Cloud Computing skills, including experience working with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based integrations related to D365.
• Hands-on experience configuring Microsoft D365 F&O and Commerce modules, including pricing, catalog, channels, and payment configurations.
• Experience in leading configuration or implementation projects in a hybrid or international environment, preferably within retail or e-commerce domains.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Azure are highly beneficial, along with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
