Middle UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a Strong Middle UI/UX Designer to create polished and intuitive experiences across our products.

You will design mobile, responsive web interfaces and landing pages, develop existing visual concepts, and turn key screens into complete user flows. This role requires advanced Figma skills, strong UI expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to balance established UX patterns with thoughtful visual improvements.

You will work closely with the Design Lead, product team, developers, and QA. You will be expected to propose different UX solutions, clearly explain their trade-offs, and implement the final direction agreed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in UI/UX or Product Design.

• Commercial experience designing fintech products.

• A strong portfolio featuring shipped mobile and responsive web products.

• Advanced Figma skills: auto layout, variables, components, variants, component properties, and libraries.

• Experience creating and maintaining complex design systems and semantic design tokens.

• Strong UI skills, including typography, color, grids, spacing, visual hierarchy, and interactive states.

• Experience designing responsive behaviour across mobile, tablet, and desktop.

• Experience supporting both light and dark modes.

• Ability to independently turn an initial concept into complete user flows, screens, states, and responsive layouts.

• Understanding of common UX patterns, usability, and accessibility principles.

• Experience preparing developer handoffs.

• Exceptional attention to detail and consistency.

• English proficiency at B1–B2 level or higher, including the ability to review interface microcopy.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user flows for mobile applications and responsive web products.

• Develop mockups from initial concepts and several key screens without requiring step-by-step direction.

• Create all necessary screens, responsive versions, component states, and edge cases.

• Prepare UX alternatives, explain their advantages and risks, and refine the direction selected with the Design Lead.

• Develop visual concepts within the existing product style while introducing relevant new details.

• Create and maintain components, variables, tokens, and libraries within the design system.

• Ensure consistency across light and dark modes.

• Design landing pages and other web experiences when required.

• Prepare clear specifications, annotations for developers.

• Check UI copy for clarity, consistency, and obvious English-language errors.

• Collaborate closely with the Design Lead, product managers, developers, and QA.

Nice to have

• Experience with trading, investment, banking, or brokerage products.

• Experience designing dashboards, charts, tables, filters, and other data-heavy interfaces.

• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility requirements.

• Experience working with analytics and product metrics.

• Basic understanding of front-end principles and technical constraints.
