We're Hiring: Senior Full-Stack Mobile Engineer (React Native + TypeScript)

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Mobile Engineer to lead the development of a mobile application for an innovative agricultural technology platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to own a mobile application from the ground up, building an offline-first solution for field teams operating in environments with limited or no internet connectivity.

You'll work across React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL, taking full ownership of features from backend development through to mobile deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Development: Build and launch a React Native application (iOS and Android), owning the full development lifecycle from architecture to app store releases.
• Offline-First Architecture: Design local storage, background synchronization, retry mechanisms, conflict resolution, and offline data management.
• Maps & Device Integration: Develop map-based features using MapLibre, integrating GPS, camera, and photo capture capabilities.
• Backend Engineering: Design and develop APIs, database models, authentication, and permissions using Node.js, TypeScript, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
• Web Development: Build and enhance React 19 / TanStack Start applications, sharing business logic and validation across platforms.
• DevOps & Quality: Manage mobile CI/CD, automated builds, OTA updates, crash monitoring, and automated testing.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years of hands-on React Native development.
• Proven experience independently delivering at least one production mobile application to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Strong full-stack development expertise using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Hands-on experience building offline-first mobile applications, including SQLite, WatermelonDB, or similar local databases, synchronization, and conflict handling.
• Solid backend development experience covering REST/RPC APIs, SQL, database design, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with native iOS/Android development tooling, including Xcode, Gradle, and app store deployment.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, and technical decision-making.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing applications for agriculture, logistics, ERP, or field workforce management.
• Geospatial and mapping technologies such as MapLibre, Mapbox, GeoJSON, or offline maps.
• Familiarity with TanStack Start, TanStack Query, oRPC/tRPC, Zod, and Microsoft SSO.
• Exposure to agribusiness operations, particularly the fresh-fruit supply chain.
