Working Arrangement: Hybrid - one day per week in the office and four days working from home

The Opportunity

Our client, a leading mortgage brokerage, is seeking an experienced, Polish-speaking Mortgage Adviser to join its established team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mortgage professional with a strong understanding of the Irish mortgage market and a passion for delivering high-quality, personalised mortgage advice.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Polish-speaking clients across Ireland, helping them understand their mortgage options and guiding them through the process from initial consultation to mortgage drawdown.

Fluency in both Polish and English is essential, as the role will focus on building relationships with clients within the Polish community and providing clear, professional advice throughout their mortgage journey.

The position offers an attractive hybrid working arrangement, with just one day per week required in the Drumcondra office and four days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full mortgage application process, from initial client enquiry and financial assessment through to mortgage approval and drawdown.

• Provide tailored mortgage advice based on clients' individual financial circumstances, needs and objectives.

• Build and develop relationships with Polish-speaking clients, communicating confidently in both Polish and English.

• Conduct client fact-finds, assess affordability and review financial documentation to establish mortgage eligibility.

• Research the market and identify suitable mortgage products and lenders for individual clients.

• Liaise with mortgage lenders, underwriters, solicitors and internal support teams to progress applications efficiently.

• Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the mortgage process.

• Manage a pipeline of applications, ensuring documentation, deadlines and follow-ups are handled effectively.

• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all recommendations and applications meet regulatory and compliance requirements.

• Keep up to date with mortgage products, lender criteria, market developments and relevant regulatory changes.

• Contribute to business development, client retention and the achievement of agreed performance targets.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Adviser, Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Consultant within the Irish market.

• Fluency in Polish and English is essential.

• Strong technical knowledge of Irish mortgage products, lender criteria, affordability assessments and the application process.

• Proven ability to manage mortgage applications independently from initial consultation through to drawdown.

• Relevant APA or QFA qualifications, or the qualifications required for the regulated activities undertaken, including applicable continuing professional development.

• A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and compliant mortgage advice.

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust with clients.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.

• A proactive, client-focused approach with commercial awareness and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
