Network Architect

Role Description This part-time remote Network Architect role at Centro Medico Camedi focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing secure network infrastructures that support clinical and administrative operations. The Network Architect will develop network architectures and layouts, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and cloud connectivity, aligned with healthcare performance and security requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing existing network designs, proposing improvements, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with IT and clinical stakeholders to understand connectivity and availability needs. The role also involves evaluating new networking technologies, conducting capacity and performance analysis, and defining standards and best practices for network implementation. The Network Architect will provide guidance to network administrators and engineers, assist in troubleshooting complex issues, and ensure network solutions comply with relevant data privacy and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Network Architecture and Network Design for planning and documenting scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Engineering and Network Administration for implementing, configuring, and maintaining network devices and services.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Security for safeguarding data, managing access controls, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Experience with routing and switching technologies, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar) and healthcare IT environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional setting.
• Relevant certifications (such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent) and a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
