Network Architect

Role Description This part-time remote Network Architect role at Centro de Diagnóstico por Imágenes CEDISA focuses on designing, optimizing, and securing the organization’s network infrastructure that supports imaging and clinical systems. The Network Architect will define network architecture standards, create detailed network design documentation, and collaborate with IT and clinical stakeholders to align network capabilities with operational requirements. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and reviewing network devices, monitoring performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions. The role also involves assessing security risks, applying best practices for network segmentation and access control, supporting compliance initiatives, and providing guidance on technology upgrades and scalability. The Network Architect will participate in remote meetings, prepare technical reports, and offer recommendations to improve reliability, security, and efficiency.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Architecture and Network Design to create scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructures.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Network Engineering and Network Administration to implement, configure, and maintain network devices and services.
• Candidates should possess solid Network Security skills to protect systems, enforce access controls, and support compliance with healthcare data protection standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies in medium to large environments.
• Familiarity with healthcare IT environments, imaging systems, and data privacy regulations is beneficial.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, CISSP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
