NYSC (Youth Corper) Content & Social Media Officer (Vox Pop & Digital Engagement)

We are looking for vibrant, creative, and media-savvy NYSC members to support our content creation and social media engagement efforts across platforms. Job Description We are seeking proactive and creative NYSC Youth Corpers to join our media and communications team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for producing engaging vox pop content, managing our social media presence, and assisting in building community engagement online. Key Responsibilities Plan, record, and edit vox pop videos on trending or relevant topics. Post and schedule content across all company social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube). Engage with followers: respond to comments, DMs, and grow the online community. Collaborate with the team to align content with brand voice and goals. Monitor and report on content performance and engagement. Stay up to date with social media trends and integrate them into content strategies. Assist with digital campaigns and influencer collaborations when required. Requirements Requirements Currently serving in the NYSC program. Strong interest in media, content creation, and social media trends. Good smartphone or access to basic video recording/editing tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable speaking on camera and interacting with the public for vox pop. Basic editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Canva, or similar tools). Reliable internet access and ability to work remotely. Preferred Qualifications Background in Mass Communication, Media, English, Marketing, or related fields. Previous experience managing a brand page or personal content page is a plus.
