Role Description The Odoo Functional Instructor role is a remote, contract position focused on delivering effective training on Odoo’s functional modules to business users, administrators, and project teams. Day-to-day tasks include preparing course materials and training documentation, configuring demo environments, and conducting live virtual training sessions and workshops. The instructor will assess participant needs, adapt training content to different levels of experience, and provide hands-on guidance on workflows such as CRM, sales, inventory, accounting, and other relevant Odoo modules. They will also create practical exercises, record tutorials, and provide follow-up support, clarifications, and feedback to ensure knowledge retention. Collaboration with implementation consultants and product specialists to keep training content aligned with current Odoo features and best practices is expected.
Qualifications

• Strong functional knowledge of Odoo (e.g., CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, and related modules), including practical experience configuring workflows for business users.
• Proven experience in training, instruction, or facilitation, with the ability to design clear training materials, structure curricula, and present complex topics in accessible language.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead interactive remote sessions, answer questions effectively, and support diverse learning styles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage schedules and multiple training engagements, and collaborate with cross-functional and multinational teams.
• Familiarity with ERP concepts, business processes (such as finance, operations, and supply chain), and basic project management practices.
• Comfort with digital tools for virtual training (video conferencing platforms, LMS systems, screen recording, and collaborative documentation tools).
• Prior experience with technical or software training, particularly in infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, big data, or AI environments, is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong English proficiency; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
