Online Education Specialist / Senior Online Education Specialist / Online Education Manager

Role Description The Online Education Specialist / Senior Online Education Specialist / Online Education Manager will design, deliver, and improve online courses related to Quran studies, Islamic education, and language learning in a remote setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting live or recorded lessons, monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining clear communication with learners and guardians where applicable. The role involves developing and updating curricula, learning materials, and assessments to align with educational goals and best practices in online teaching. The individual will collaborate with other educators to enhance course quality, ensure a positive learning experience, and support continuous improvement in teaching methods and student engagement. Senior and Manager-level responsibilities may include mentoring other instructors, coordinating schedules, and contributing to strategic decisions about program offerings and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts clearly, provide constructive feedback, and engage learners in an online environment.
• Analytical and research skills to assess student performance, evaluate learning outcomes, and refine course content based on data and best practices.
• Effective writing skills for developing lesson plans, educational materials, assessments, and learner guidance.
• Training and instructional skills, including experience facilitating online classes, workshops, or one-on-one sessions.
• Relevant knowledge of Quran studies, Tajweed, Islamic education, and Urdu and/or Arabic language sufficient to teach assigned courses.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms and basic digital tools (e.g., video conferencing, learning management systems, document sharing).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple classes or responsibilities.
• Prior experience in teaching or educational program coordination; senior and manager-level roles may require several years of related experience and leadership capabilities.
• Appropriate educational background in Islamic studies, education, languages, or a related field is preferred.
