Are you a performance marketing enthusiast looking to take the next step in your paid media career? Do you already have hands-on experience with platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads and want to continue developing your skills within an international digital marketing environment?
BrandBuilding.com could be the perfect fit for you. We’re looking for a Paid Media Intern who already has a solid foundation in performance marketing and is eager to deepen their experience, take on real responsibility, and grow within our paid media team.
Your mission at BrandBuilding.com
As a Paid Media Intern, you’ll support the development, management, and optimization of paid media campaigns across our portfolio of businesses.
This is not a purely observational internship. You’ll work hands-on across advertising platforms, primarily Google Ads and Meta Ads, supporting campaign setup, optimization, reporting, audience development, and performance analysis.
You’ll work closely with experienced members of the paid media team while gradually taking more ownership of accounts and campaign activities. We’re looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of paid advertising, is comfortable working with performance data, and wants to develop into a strong performance marketer.
We value people who take initiative, ask good questions, challenge existing approaches, and actively look for opportunities to improve results.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the setup, management, and optimization of paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Assisting with campaigns focused on generating sales, leads, and other performance objectives.
- Creating and managing custom audiences and targeted audience segments.
- Monitoring campaign performance and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Analyzing results using GA4, advertising platforms, and our custom dashboards.
- Supporting the development of optimization strategies based on campaign results, KPIs, and performance marketing best practices.
- Conducting keyword, audience, competitor, and market research.
- Assisting with reporting and translating campaign data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Staying up to date with new advertising features, platform developments, and industry trends.
- Contributing to account management processes and paid media best practices within the team.
- Supporting budget monitoring and campaign pacing.
- Bonus: Supporting feed management and Google Merchant Center operations, including product feeds, feed rules, and Shopping campaign requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience with paid media, ideally through internships, freelance work, personal projects, agency experience, or an in-house marketing role.
- Practical experience using Google Ads and/or Meta Ads.
- A good understanding of core paid media concepts such as campaign structures, targeting, bidding, budgets, conversions, and performance metrics.
- Comfortable working with data and analyzing campaign performance.
- Familiarity with common paid media KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Process-oriented mindset with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to receive feedback, learn quickly, and continuously improve.
- Familiarity with GA4 and performance reporting is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Suite.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with eCommerce brands.
- Exposure to Google Shopping or Performance Max campaigns.
- Familiarity with Google Merchant Center and product feeds.
- Experience creating reports or dashboards.
- Previous agency experience.
- Experience managing or supporting real advertising budgets.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is Driven: You’re ambitious and want to develop quickly in performance marketing.
- Wants Growth: You actively look for opportunities to improve your skills and take on more responsibility.
- Is Autonomous: You don’t need to be guided through every step and are comfortable taking initiative.
- Can Problem-Solve: You enjoy digging into data, identifying issues, and finding solutions.
- Is Curious: You want to understand why campaigns perform the way they do rather than simply following instructions.
- Is Resilient: When something doesn’t work, you investigate, learn, test again, and keep moving forward.
