Payments Specialist

We're looking for a Payments Specialist with proven expertise in the payments landscape, from payment operations and market infrastructure to transformation and innovation initiatives. Your skills and qualifications Excellent knowledge of business English and Dutch or French 6+ years of experience in payments, transaction banking, cash management or related financial services domains Proven track record in delivering complex payments transformation initiatives within consulting, banking, payment institutions or fintech environments Excellent understanding of payments operating models, payment infrastructures and industry trends Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and managing complex client environments Ability to manage workstreams, projects or programmes and coordinate multidisciplinary teams Strong plus if you have expertise in: Payment infrastructures, financial messaging and market infrastructures (SWIFT, ISO 20022, Instant Payments, Clearing & Settlement, T2/T2S/TIPS, Core Banking). Payment innovation and transformation (PSD2, Open Banking, Embedded Finance, CBDCs, Digital Assets, Transaction Banking, Cards & Merchant Payments, regulatory change). What will you do? As a Payments Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them shape the future of payments through strategic initiatives, business transformation and technology-led innovation. Your key responsibilities: Advise financial institutions, payment service providers and fintechs on their payments strategy, operating model and transformation roadmap Guide complex payments transformation programmes from strategy definition through execution Act as a trusted sparring partner for senior business and technology stakeholders Drive business development activities by identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals and supporting client growth initiatives Bridge business, operations and technology teams to ensure successful implementation of payment initiatives What can you expect from us?
