Power BI Developer (Data & Analytics)

Select For Hire is partnering with a leading healthcare technology and services organization to identify exceptional talent for a Power BI Developer role supporting multiple enterprise reporting initiatives. This role will focus on designing and delivering scalable dashboards that integrate data from multiple sources into a cohesive, business-ready view.

The ideal candidate will not only build dashboards, but also partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support business decision-making
  
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources into unified, consumable datasets
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into scalable solutions
  
• Build and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and performance tuning within Power BI
  
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting outputs
  
• Support continuous improvement of reporting frameworks and visualization standards
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Five or more years of experience with proven ability to develop dashboards that synthesize multiple data sources into a single view

Strong experience with:

• Power BI (Advanced DAX, data modeling, dashboard development)
  
• SQL (Advanced) for querying and data manipulation
  
• Data transformation and modeling techniques
  
• Data & Analytics: Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query), Python
  
• Data Engineering: ETL, data pipelines, data quality management
  
• Databases: Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MongoDB
  
• Azure cloud, Databricks platforms
  
• Experience working directly with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Balances technical expertise with business acumen
  
• Comfortable operating in environments with developing requirements and evolving data needs
  
• Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and business teams
  
• Focused on delivering scalable, reusable, and high-quality reporting solutions
  
• Preferred experience in healthcare, banking, and/or financial services
