Procurement Director

Role Description The Procurement Director at MMP, Groupe AD industrie will oversee strategic purchasing activities and supplier relationships in a part-time, remote capacity. This role includes defining procurement strategies, managing key supplier negotiations, and ensuring that contracts align with business objectives and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities involve reviewing and optimizing procurement processes, coordinating with internal stakeholders on supply needs, monitoring supplier performance, and mitigating supply chain risks. The Procurement Director will collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to support budget adherence, quality standards, and on-time delivery. The role also includes leading or contributing to procurement-related improvement projects and providing guidance on best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Procurement and Supply Chain Management to oversee purchasing activities, supplier selection, and inventory or logistics coordination.
• Demonstrated expertise in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management to secure favorable terms, manage agreements, and ensure compliance.
• Proficiency in Project Management to lead or support procurement-related initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and track progress against objectives.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, with an understanding of cost optimization, quality requirements, and risk management.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement software tools and data-driven analysis for supplier and cost performance monitoring.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills relevant to supplier markets are an advantage.
