Project Director

Role Description The Project Director role at Hon Hai (Foxconn) México is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing complex, cross-functional projects from planning through execution and delivery. The Project Director coordinates project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading virtual project teams, setting milestones, tracking progress, managing risks and issues, and communicating status updates to leadership and partners. The role also involves defining project governance, facilitating decision-making, and promoting best practices in project management and continuous improvement. The Project Director collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong project and program management skills, including experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Proficiency in stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration, with the ability to lead remote, cross-functional teams and build consensus.
• Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches) and ability to adapt frameworks to organizational needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly beneficial for collaboration with local teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high levels of accountability and organization.
• Background in technology, manufacturing, operations, or a related field; previous experience in electronics or high-tech industries is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) are a plus.
