Job Title: Product Coordination Specialist
Monthly Pay: $3,721 - $5,558 USD per month
Summary:
A product update request arrives, gets checked, moves through assigned tasks, and closes with confirmed outcomes and clear notes. This role handles product coordination details that help approved changes move forward without missing information or overlooked handoffs. The position sits within the product management team and works under a product management team lead. It works with product managers, customer support colleagues, and business stakeholders to keep requests, priorities, and release updates aligned. This is a fully remote, work from home position based in Kentucky, United States. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment. Working days and shift times may vary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review incoming product requests from shared queues, emails, and internal meetings, identifying the requested change, business purpose, requester, and expected next step.
- Check submissions for complete product references, clear descriptions, supporting feedback, and stated deadlines before sending incomplete requests back for clarification.
- Record approved requests in a project management tool such as Jira, keeping task ownership, current status, dependencies, and acceptance details visible.
- Maintain product update trackers using a spreadsheets and data entry tool such as Google Sheets, checking entries against the latest approved information.
- Organize backlog items according to priorities established by product managers, flagging duplicate requests and items that need a clearer decision.
- Coordinate handoffs between product managers and business stakeholders, confirming that each owner understands the requested action and expected completion point.
- Follow up on outstanding actions and missing responses, escalating blocked work or conflicting priorities to the product management team lead.
- Prepare factual progress summaries for review meetings, highlighting completed actions, upcoming checkpoints, unresolved questions, and changes to previously shared expectations.
- Check release readiness against approved task lists, confirm stakeholder acknowledgments, and route unresolved readiness questions to the responsible product manager.
- Close completed requests after owner confirmation, preserve useful decision notes, and meet quality expectations for accuracy, turnaround, complete notes, and follow-up.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- About 1-2 years of experience in product coordination, product operations support, or closely related administrative work preferred.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle stages, backlog organization, release checkpoints, and the distinction between a request and an approved priority.
- Working knowledge of task trackers and spreadsheets, including updating statuses, filtering lists, identifying missing fields, and keeping shared information consistent.
- Ability to compare product requests with agreed requirements and identify questions that need clarification without making unsupported assumptions.
- Clear written and verbal communication for concise status updates, practical follow-up questions, and respectful coordination with colleagues across different business functions.
- Sound judgment when handling internal product information and recognizing decisions that belong with a product manager or team lead.
- Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet private workspace; availability for the 40-hour weekly commitment and agreed working days and shift times.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Perks & Benefits:
- Fully remote work from home in a desk-based product coordination role.
- Structured onboarding and training on the named systems, request workflows, and product update procedures.
- Regular check-ins with the team lead to review priorities, questions, and development goals.
- Opportunities to build product operations, backlog organization, release coordination, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Health coverage, paid leave, a 401(k), bonus opportunities, and stipends.
