About the Role
Own the supply chain product area for a manufacturing software platform. You will turn complex factory and procurement workflows into practical software that helps industrial teams manage operations more effectively.
What You'll Do
Set the roadmap for procurement, inventory management, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.
Visit customer sites and work directly with factory teams, procurement leads, and supply chain leaders to understand their operational needs.
Translate supply chain workflows into product specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes in close partnership with engineering.
Use AI-assisted tools to prototype solutions, query data, work with APIs, and contribute code when appropriate.
Coordinate with engineering, design, customer success, and sales to deliver useful features and support customer onboarding.
Evaluate inventory metrics, user behavior, and customer feedback to test hypotheses and improve product outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Three to ten years of experience across product management, manufacturing or supply chain operations, and software development or hands-on coding.
Experience taking software features from discovery and research through delivery and launch.
Working knowledge of procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability workflows.
Experience with manufacturing or industrial software, ideally in sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy, robotics, or automotive.
Ability to write technical specifications and build functional prototypes from complex domain logic.
Familiarity with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP, and MES or PLM systems.
A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $175,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid role based in Los Angeles, California, with at least three days per week on-site.
