About the Role
Own the supply chain product area at a B2B SaaS company serving manufacturers. You will connect hands-on manufacturing and supply chain expertise with technical product development to improve complex operational workflows through software.
What You'll Do
Set and deliver the roadmap for procurement, inventory management, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.
Visit customer facilities and work directly with procurement and supply chain teams to understand operational needs.
Turn complex hardware supply chain workflows into product requirements, wireframes, and working prototypes in partnership with engineering.
Use AI-assisted tools to prototype, query data, work with APIs, and contribute code where useful.
Coordinate with engineering, design, customer success, sales, and customers to deliver useful features and support onboarding.
Review inventory metrics, product usage, and customer feedback to test assumptions and improve product outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Three to ten years of experience spanning product management, manufacturing or supply chain operations, and software development or hands-on coding.
Experience taking product features from research through launch, and strong knowledge of procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability.
A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.
Ability to create functional prototypes and clear technical specifications from complex domain logic.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors, ideally in areas such as aerospace, defense, energy, robotics, or automotive.
Familiarity with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, ERP systems, MES, PLM, and AI-assisted prototyping tools.
Strong cross-functional communication and influence, with experience working closely with engineering, design, commercial teams, and customers.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $175,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid, based in Los Angeles, California, with at least three days per week working on-site.
