About the Role
Own the supply chain product area for a B2B manufacturing software platform. You will work closely with customers and engineering to turn complex factory operations into practical software that improves procurement, inventory management, and traceability.
What You'll Do
Set product strategy and manage the roadmap for procurement, inventory, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.
Visit customer facilities and learn directly from procurement and supply chain teams about their operational needs.
Translate complex supply chain workflows into product specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes in partnership with engineering.
Use AI-assisted tools to prototype, query data, work with APIs, and contribute code where useful.
Coordinate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver features and support customer onboarding.
Use product data, inventory metrics, and customer feedback to assess impact and guide iteration.
What We're Looking For
Three to ten years of experience spanning product management, manufacturing or supply chain operations, and software development or hands-on coding.
Experience taking software features from research through launch, including writing technical specifications and building functional prototypes.
Strong knowledge of procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability workflows.
Exposure to manufacturing or industrial sectors, such as aerospace, energy, robotics, or automotive.
A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.
Familiarity with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP, and MES or PLM software.
Ability to align technical and customer-facing teams and communicate effectively with factory and supply chain stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $175,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid, based in Los Angeles, California, with at least three days per week in the office.
