Product Owner | Anti-Financial Crime Software | Zurich

One of the world's leading RegTech vendors, with software running inside 1,500+ banks across 80 countries to detect fraud, money laundering and sanctions breaches in real time, are now investing in a significant new wave of AI-driven innovation. This Product Owner role exists to turn that investment into reality: you will be the glue between the people who know what banks and regulators need and the engineers who build it, taking an idea from the first conversation with a client or colleague all the way to a feature live in production, and shaping what our product becomes along the way.

We are deliberately open about where you come from... You might be a Product Owner today, but you might equally be a compliance officer, a financial crime analyst or a consultant who has spent years living with the problems this software solves, and now wants to be the person who decides how they get fixed.

What matters is genuine anti-financial crime knowledge, whether that is AML, fraud, KYC, sanctions screening or transaction monitoring, combined with a sharp, analytical and structured way of thinking that lets you break a messy real-world requirement into something an engineering team can build.

What you will do

• Gather requirements from clients and internal teams and work out the real problem behind each ask
• Decide how each requirement is best solved within the product and refine it into clear, bite-size work
• Work side by side with engineering through delivery, from definition to production
• Own a product area end to end, with real freedom to shape its direction
• Work closely with a CEO who is deeply hands-on with product direction

What you bring

• Genuine AFC or regulated compliance experience (AML, fraud, KYC, sanctions, transaction monitoring or similar)
• An analytical, structured mind that is comfortable with complexity
• The ability to turn business and regulatory needs into clear, buildable requirements
• Product Owner or Product Manager experience is welcome but not essential
• Strong communication skills
• Based in Zurich
