Product Owner, Dealer portal
MusegroupDescription
Muse Group is looking for a senior Product Owner to lead the next chapter of our B2B Dealer Portal — the platform that lets music retailers order sheet music, instruments and gear directly from us across the US and Europe.
What's in it for you:
- Build something from the ground up. Full ownership of vision, roadmap and delivery for a brand-new, unified portal replacing two outdated, fragmented systems.
- A clear mandate, ready to execute. The backlog is prioritized and the direction is set — this is a build-and-grow role, not a debate-what-to-build role.
- Direct line to revenue. Your work ties straight to a company-level growth target for the dealer channel, with clear metrics to show the impact of what you ship.
We are actively integrating AI automation into relevant areas of the business and expect candidates with mindset focused on improving efficiency and deliver a better user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Own the Dealer Portal product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
- Deliver end-to-end dealer journeys through MVP1, MVP2, and MVP3.
- Lead discovery with dealers and internal users across Sales, Marketing, Support, and Finance.
- Translate validated needs into product requirements and development tasks.
- Prioritize development work and accept delivered functionality.
- Coordinate product testing, releases, and further development.
- Manage stakeholders and regularly present plans, progress, and results.
- Monitor product and commercial metrics, including portal adoption, revenue, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Strong product discovery and user-research skills.
- Experience managing roadmaps, backlogs, and product delivery.
- Strong understanding of product and revenue metrics.
- Understanding of B2B business models and customer journeys.
- Direct B2B or internal-user product experience is preferred; strong B2C experience with meaningful B2B exposure is also acceptable.
- English proficiency: B2 minimum, C1 preferred.
