The PO is accountable for leading the Product, ensuring strategic alignment with the Product Suite, and effective prioritization with other products. The PO bridges product goals with product execution, focusing on outcome, user value, and matching deliverable features to valuable objectives.
- Understand user needs and business outcome for the product.
- Backlog ownership and ensuring continuous refinement of product backlog items in collaboration with an empowered, outcome-focused product team and stakeholders.
- Align product outcomes to the Product Suite and platform strategy.
- Stakeholder management: Structure and manage relationships with stakeholders to align expectations, build trust, and communicate clearly and in due time.
- Prioritization: Balances needs of the product and prioritizes both development and operation throughout the product lifecycle.
PO for License Management of ~250 standard apps primary Client software and SaaS solutions managed by 10 team members based in PL and DK.
Requirements:
- Roadmapping: Defines and communicates a product roadmap that matches business outcomes to outputs in alignment with the product suite roadmap to maximise business impact, user value, and return on investment.
- Delivery: Steers an empowered, outcome-focused product team, including owning a prioritised backlog, slicing work into executable tasks, and maintaining flow.
- User and product insight: Continuously uncovers and addresses user needs and segments, ensuring the product solves real problems. Combines deep area knowledge with discovery practices and sessions to embed functionality where and when it creates the most value and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Technology: Navigates and contributes to technical and architectural roadmaps, embedding product thinking into technology choices.
- Communication: Ensures clarity and alignment and can explain the "why" and “how” of the product - both internally within the team and externally to stakeholders.
- Leadership: Sets and owns the product direction in alignment with Product Managers of product suite if applicable.
- Stakeholder management: Structures and nurtures relationships with stakeholders to align expectations, build trust, and communicate releases clearly.
- Prioritisation: Balances needs of the product and prioritises both development and operation throughout the product lifecycle.
Practical Information
- Duration: 6 months.
- Working hours: 37 hours per week.
- Work setup: Hybrid setup with minimum 3 days onsite per week.
- The consultant must be based in Denmark.
