Production Manager

Role Description The Production Manager role at Plenora Pulse: Fintech Edition is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing end-to-end content and media production workflows. This role coordinates editorial calendars, manages production timelines, and ensures that weekly news roundups, market signals, and feature analyses are delivered on schedule and to quality standards. The Production Manager collaborates closely with writers, editors, designers, and any external partners to streamline processes, assign tasks, and optimize resource allocation. Daily activities include tracking deliverables, updating project management tools, maintaining content pipelines, and supporting continuous improvement of production methods. The role also monitors audience feedback and performance metrics to inform adjustments in format, cadence, and channel distribution.

Qualifications

• Experience in production management or content operations, including scheduling, workflow design, and coordination across editorial and design teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with proficiency in digital tools such as Asana, Trello, Notion, or similar platforms.
• Background or demonstrated interest in fintech, financial services, or technology media, with the ability to understand key industry trends and terminology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and quality control, with experience reviewing content or deliverables for consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment.
• Analytical skills to interpret engagement and performance data and recommend improvements to production processes and content formats.
• Previous experience in digital publishing, newsletters, podcasts, or video production is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
