Category Manager

Role Description The Category Manager at AI Pulse Georgia will play a key role in defining, optimizing, and growing specific content, partnership, or service categories aligned with the podcast’s mission. This part-time, remote role includes analyzing market trends, audience data, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and refine category strategies. The Category Manager will collaborate with the host and production team to plan category-specific content, coordinate with partners and vendors, and support procurement activities for tools, services, and sponsorships. Daily tasks may involve setting category targets, managing budgets, monitoring sales or partnership performance, and preparing concise reports and recommendations to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Category Management and Procurement skills to structure, source, and optimize key content and partnership categories.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to manage agreements with partners, vendors, and sponsors in a fair and transparent manner.
• Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support revenue-generating initiatives, sponsorships, and partnership development.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in media or podcast environments, familiarity with AI or technology topics, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
