What You’ll Do

• Review and accurately assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for professional fee anesthesia and cardiology services.
• Apply current coding guidelines, payer policies, and documentation requirements to ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
• Review medical records to validate code assignment, medical necessity, and appropriate documentation.
• Identify documentation discrepancies and opportunities for improved coding accuracy.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Stay current with coding updates, regulatory changes, and specialty-specific guidelines.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum of 2 years of professional fee coding in the area of anesthesia and cardiology experience.
• Current medical coding certification required, such as CPC, CCS-P, or another relevant professional coding credential.
• Demonstrated experience coding anesthesia and/or cardiology services.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and applicable coding guidelines.
• Understanding of payer requirements, compliance standards, and revenue cycle processes.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• A commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous learning.
