Project Controller

Role Description The Project Controller is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the planning, monitoring, and reporting of educational and digital projects. This role includes coordinating project timelines, tracking progress against milestones, and ensuring that activities align with defined goals and budgets. Day-to-day tasks involve maintaining project documentation, preparing status reports, supporting risk and issue tracking, and communicating updates to project leads and stakeholders. The Project Controller will also help optimize processes, support the implementation of project management tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including instructional design, technology, and academic staff. This position requires proactive organization, clear communication, and attention to detail to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables, using basic project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining project records, preparing reports, and tracking tasks.
• Comfort working with digital platforms and remote collaboration tools (e.g., project management software, online communication tools, shared document systems).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present project information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify risks, propose solutions, and support decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote, part-time setting.
• Interest or experience in education, pedagogy, or digital learning environments is highly beneficial.
• Relevant academic background in fields such as project management, education, administration, or a related area is preferred.
