Project Manager

Our client is a European deep-tech startup developing next generation radar systems for the detection and tracking of small, low flying drones.

The team works across radar architecture, RF hardware, signal processing, embedded systems and data processing software. This is a fast moving R&D environment where strong project management is critical. Your role is to bring structure to complexity, align engineering teams, remove friction from execution and help turn ambitious technical development into clear and predictable progress. You will contribute to building products designed for real world deployment and shaping the future architecture of security and defence.

The Role:

We are looking for a Project Manager to own the coordination of the product development process, from concept and technical requirements through prototyping, testing, certification and preparation for manufacturing. The product combines RF chains, antennas, electronics, embedded systems, signal processing, software and mechanical design. Multiple engineering streams run in parallel and depend heavily on each other.

You will work directly with founders, technical leads, engineers and external contractors. Your role is to bring structure to a complex R&D environment, keep teams aligned and make sure the project moves forward.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple R&D workstreams, define milestones, timelines and priorities

• Coordinate RF, Hardware, Embedded, Software and Mechanical teams

• Translate product goals into clear project plans together with founders and technical leads

• Manage dependencies between antennas, RF chains, electronics, mechanics, software and embedded systems

• Coordinate external engineers, manufacturers, laboratories and technical contractors

• Track execution, identify risks, blockers and bottlenecks early and drive their resolution

• Maintain clear project documentation, roadmaps and task tracking in Jira and Confluence

• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, testing partners and other stakeholders

• Support the transition from engineering prototypes to stable product configurations

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in a product, engineering or R&D environment

• Experience managing technical or engineering projects

• Strong understanding of Project Management principles and practical execution

• Experience with Jira and Confluence

• Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams, dependencies and priorities

• Strong problem solving and risk management skills

• Clear and effective communication with technical and non technical stakeholders

• Ability to drive execution without micromanagement

• Strong ownership and leadership mindset

• Professional English is required

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Hardware, Embedded, Electronics, IoT, Robotics, Telecom or other R&D products

• Understanding of the electronic product development cycle from requirements and prototyping through testing, certification and manufacturing

• Basic understanding of electronics, RF, wireless technologies or embedded systems

• Experience working with Hardware and Firmware teams

• Experience with manufacturers, suppliers or engineering contractors

• Technical or engineering education

• Strong interest in electronics and complex technology products

• Polish or Ukrainian
