About Salud Healthcare
Salud Healthcare is a tech-forward services organization that helps private practices transition to alternative payment models. The Project Manager is central to that mission — keeping the initiatives behind our coding, quality, records, and analytics programs on schedule, on scope, and visible to everyone who depends on them.
Position Summary
In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and drive execution on projects spanning our clinical operations, technology, and client-facing teams — from new practice implementations and workflow rollouts to internal process improvements and recurring program cycles. You will build the plan, chase the dependencies, run the standing meetings, and surface risk before it becomes a missed deadline. You will work as part of Salud's offshore team in the Philippines, partnering daily with US-based stakeholders, which requires consistent overlap with US Eastern business hours and the ability to move work forward asynchronously when that overlap ends. This position is fully remote and requires a secure, private home workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
Job Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Translate business objectives into project plans with clear scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, and target dates.
- Maintain project boards, timelines, and task assignments in the team's project management platform, keeping status current and accurate at all times.
- Drive day-to-day execution — following up on open items, unblocking owners, and holding the plan to its committed dates.
- Manage recurring program cycles (monthly, quarterly, and annual) end to end, with repeatable checklists and handoffs rather than ad hoc coordination.
Cross-Functional & Cross-Time-Zone Coordination
- Serve as the connective tissue between offshore and US-based teams, ensuring work handed off across time zones is documented well enough to continue without a live conversation.
- Facilitate standups, working sessions, and status reviews; publish agendas in advance and written recaps with decisions and action items afterward.
- Coordinate with clinical operations, coding and quality, technology, and client-facing teams to sequence work and resolve competing priorities.
- Escalate blockers to the right owner promptly and with enough context for a decision to be made without a follow-up round of questions.
Reporting, Risk & Stakeholder Management
- Produce clear, consistent status reporting for leadership — progress against milestones, risks, blockers, and what changed since the last update.
- Identify, log, and actively manage project risks and issues, proposing mitigation rather than only flagging problems.
- Track scope changes and their impact on timeline and resourcing, and secure explicit sign-off before plans shift.
- Communicate directly with internal and external stakeholders in a way that builds trust and keeps expectations aligned.
Process & Documentation
- Build and maintain project documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and templates so recurring work becomes repeatable and transferable.
- Identify friction in existing workflows and lead improvement efforts that reduce manual effort or cycle time.
- Capture lessons learned at project close and fold them into how the next one runs.
- Handle any protected health information (PHI) encountered in the course of project work in accordance with HIPAA and Salud policy.
Qualifications Required
Experience & Knowledge
- 3+ years of project management or project coordination experience, including ownership of full project lifecycles.
- Experience supporting US-based clients, stakeholders, or business operations from an offshore location.
- Demonstrated ability to run multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Working understanding of project management fundamentals — scope, schedule, dependencies, risk, and change control.
Technical Proficiency
- Proficiency with project management platforms (Monday.com, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or equivalent) — building boards, automations, and reporting views, not just updating tasks.
- Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking, reporting, and basic analysis.
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams) and common collaboration and documentation tools.
- Confident learning new web-based systems quickly and independently, and working across multiple platforms simultaneously.
Why Salud
- We hire against five values, and they describe how we actually work. Be Bold — challenge the status quo and act with urgency, even when the path is uncertain. Be Selfless — put patients, partners, and teammates first, and share the credit. Be Authentic — bring your whole self, and give honest, candid feedback. Be Accountable — own the outcome and answer for it. Deliver Results — measure what counts, and push until the numbers actually move.
