Project Sales Engineer

Role Description The Project Sales Engineer role at CFE CGC Schneider Electric is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves identifying and pursuing project-based sales opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to order closing. The Project Sales Engineer collaborates with internal engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements and company standards. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients and stakeholders, conducting site or virtual visits, delivering product and solution presentations, and maintaining accurate records in sales and CRM tools. The role also requires regular reporting on pipeline status, market feedback, and competitor activity, while adhering to company policies and safety practices.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Sales and Sales skills, with experience in managing project-based opportunities and achieving sales targets.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present technical solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and providing responsive support.
• Candidates should possess Sales Management capabilities, such as pipeline tracking, forecasting, and coordination with internal teams.
• Candidates should ideally have knowledge of electrical, automation, or energy management solutions, or similar technical fields.
• Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in proposals and contracts.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment in Abu Dhabi, managing time effectively across onsite and remote work.
• A relevant technical or engineering degree, or equivalent professional experience in project or technical sales, is highly beneficial.
