Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Qualified Painter at Picture Perfect Painting & Decorating. The Qualified Painter will perform day-to-day tasks such as preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, performing detailed painting and decorating work, and ensuring all projects meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, selecting appropriate materials and tools, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and communicating progress clearly with supervisors and clients. The role may involve providing virtual estimates, project updates, and coordination with onsite team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to client expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Paint, Painting, and Painting and Decorating for residential and commercial projects.
• Experience working with Coatings, including proper selection and application for different surfaces.
• Competence in Spray Painting, including safe operation of equipment and achieving consistent finishes.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, masking, and cleanup procedures, as well as basic repair work (e.g., patching, sanding).
• Ability to interpret work orders and project plans, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Reliable access to tools, equipment, and technology needed to perform remote coordination and documentation of work.
• Previous professional painting experience; relevant trade certifications or apprenticeship completion are an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, customer-focused mindset, and capacity to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
