We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation with 3-5 years of experience in software testing and test automation. This role involves designing and maintaining automated test frameworks, performing performance testing, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. While prior experience with OutSystems is not required, candidates should be open to learning and working with the platform.
How you'll make an impact
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Develop automation solutions using tools like Selenium, AxelQ, or similar platforms.
- Conduct performance, load, and scalability testing to identify bottlenecks and improve application reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to define and implement testing strategies.
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to embed quality at every stage.
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Contribute to Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support existing applications and testing frameworks while driving automation best practices.
- Learn and support OutSystems-based applications as required.
About you
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Proficiency in Selenium, automated testing frameworks, test case design, and defect management.
- Understanding of performance and load testing, test automation framework design, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, SDLC, API testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with AxelQ or similar low-code/codeless automation platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Exposure to OutSystems is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality software.
- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
