About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Recruitment Consultant – Trades to Professionals to support Australian recruitment businesses across a diverse range of industries.

You'll recruit across both Blue Collar and White Collar roles, from skilled trades, construction and warehousing to healthcare, IT, finance, HR and professional services.

This role involves candidate sourcing, screening, recruitment coordination, talent pipeline development and market research to help deliver quality recruitment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Candidate Management

• Source and screen candidates across Blue Collar and White Collar roles.
• Conduct pre-screens and assess candidate suitability.
• Coordinate interviews, reference checks and candidate follow-ups.
• Prepare candidate profiles and recruitment summaries.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS/CRM.
• Support recruitment campaigns from sourcing through to placement.

Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development

• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, Indeed and other platforms.
• Use Boolean searches, headhunting and targeted outreach.
• Build talent pipelines for current and future vacancies.
• Engage passive candidates and maintain candidate relationships.
• Conduct market mapping across assigned industries.

Business Development Support

• Research companies and hiring activity across relevant industries.
• Identify prospective clients and hiring decision-makers.
• Support lead generation and candidate-led business development.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and market intelligence.
• Recruitment AdministrationPrepare and update job advertisements.
• Manage applications and candidate status updates.
• Coordinate interviews and recruitment documentation.
• Support candidate reporting, reference checks and onboarding.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in agency recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Experience recruiting Blue Collar and/or White Collar roles.
• Strong candidate sourcing, screening and relationship management skills.
• Experience using LinkedIn, SEEK or similar recruitment platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing deadlines.
• Experience using ATS/CRM systems.
• Proactive approach to sourcing and candidate engagement.
• Ability to work independently during Australian business hours.

Highly PreferredAustralian recruitment experience.

• Experience across one or more of the listed industry sectors.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search or JobAdder.
• Experience in Boolean search, headhunting and market mapping.
• Business development research or lead generation experience.
