Reels Creator (Videographer & Video Editor)

We are CodeCruze, a fast-growing Software & Digital Marketing company located in 5th Settlement.

Job Brief:

Our company is looking for a creative Reels Creator (Videographer & Video Editor) with strong shooting, editing, and visual storytelling skills. You will be responsible for creating engaging short-form videos for social media, managing the entire production process from planning and filming to editing and final delivery, while collaborating with our content and marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm and develop creative ideas for reels and short-form videos.
• Turn concepts and scripts into shot lists and filming plans.
• Shoot high-quality videos using mobile phones and DJI Osmo, with attention to lighting, framing, and audio.
• Direct people during filming to capture natural and engaging performances.
• Edit reels with strong hooks, engaging pacing, and creative storytelling.
• Add subtitles, music, sound effects, and supporting visuals.
• Optimize videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing specialists to ensure brand consistency.
• Manage the end-to-end production process, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
• Organize footage and project files, meet deadlines, and implement feedback.
• Stay updated on video trends, editing techniques, and emerging creative tools.

Nice to Have:

Additional experience in any of the following areas is a plus and will be reflected in your compensation:

• AI Video Creation: Experience with tools such as Kling, Runway, Higgsfield, or similar platforms.
• AI Prompt Engineering: Ability to write effective prompts and refine AI-generated footage to meet creative objectives.
• Professional Camera Shooting.
• Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.
• Motion Graphics.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
• Strong portfolio showcasing reels and short-form videos you have personally filmed and edited.
• Proficiency in mobile videography and CapCut.
• Good understanding of lighting, composition, framing, and audio recording.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and the ability to capture attention within the first few seconds.
• Ability to identify and adapt trends to different brands and audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively, and handle feedback constructively.
• Availability to attend office-based shoots as part of a hybrid arrangement.

Location: 5th Settlement (hybrid)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Friday & Saturday are off.
