## About the Role

We are seeking a curious, analytical, and motivated **Junior Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst** to support the identification, research, and analysis of emerging cyber threats.

In this role, you will help monitor threat intelligence sources, review indicators of compromise, research attacker techniques, and prepare actionable reports to support security teams. This opportunity is suitable for an aspiring cybersecurity professional who enjoys investigation, research, and understanding how cyber threats evolve.

## Key Responsibilities

* Monitor trusted threat intelligence sources for emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack campaigns.
* Research threat actors, malware families, phishing campaigns, and common attack techniques.
* Assist with reviewing indicators of compromise, including suspicious IP addresses, domains, file hashes, and URLs.
* Support the enrichment and organization of threat intelligence data.
* Track relevant security advisories and newly disclosed vulnerabilities.
* Help map observed attacker behavior to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
* Prepare concise threat intelligence summaries and security briefings.
* Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) and incident response teams to share relevant findings.
* Assist with identifying potential threats to organizational systems and digital assets.
* Maintain accurate records of intelligence sources, findings, and assessments.
* Follow established procedures for handling potentially malicious files, links, and indicators.

## Requirements

* Diploma or bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
* Basic understanding of cybersecurity threats, common attack vectors, and defensive security practices.
* Familiarity with networking fundamentals, DNS, IP addresses, HTTP, and email security.
* Strong research, analytical thinking, and written communication skills.
* Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and distinguish credible reporting from unverified claims.
* Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams.

## Preferred Skills

* Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
* Basic knowledge of threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, or security monitoring systems.
* Awareness of OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) research techniques.
* Familiarity with phishing analysis, malware indicators, and vulnerability advisories.
* Basic scripting knowledge in Python or PowerShell is an advantage.
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Cisco CyberOps, or an entry-level threat intelligence certification are welcome.
* Personal cybersecurity labs, academic research, or practical threat analysis projects are considered valuable.
