Remote Software Engineering Manager

Role: Fullstack Software Engineer leading and mentoring a team to develop a fintech platform that modernizes banking experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and foster growth within engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define requirements and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Oversee development of secure, well-tested, high-performance frontend and backend code.
• Establish engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
• Define long-term technical vision for platform evolution.
• Assist in recruiting and building a diverse engineering team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience leading software engineering teams with mentoring and performance management.
• Strong fullstack development skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Next.js).
• Experience designing scalable, secure architectures.
• Proficiency with modern frontend technologies and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, CI/CD).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred: 7+ years of experience, fintech familiarity, entrepreneurial mindset, and leadership in regulated industries.
