About CYV

Cast Your Votee is a nonpartisan civic responsibility movement building a Nigeria where its people love, understand, and selflessly participate in the growth of the nation. Our work is powered by accurate information, honest storytelling, and a deep belief that an informed Nigerian is a powerful one.

The Role

We are looking for curious, detail-oriented Nigerians who care about the truth of our history and the facts of our present. As a Civic Research Volunteer, you will help build CYV’s knowledge base, researching the track records of Nigerian leaders, the history of our institutions, and the real story of this administration’s promises versus performance.

Your work will directly inform the content, education materials, and community conversations CYV puts out.

What You’ll Do

• Research the political history and track records of Nigerian leaders and institutions
• Track and document this administration’s key policies, promises, and outcomes
• Compile factual summaries of Nigeria’s governance history for CYV’s content team
• Flag inaccuracies and surface verified sources to support nonpartisan, evidence-based storytelling

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine love for Nigeria and its story
• Strong research instincts — you know how to find the truth and cite your sources
• Clear written communication; you can summarize complex history simply
• Comfort working independently and remotely
• No political bias — CYV is nonpartisan and your research must reflect that
