Know your way around Sectional Title and HOA management, but equally good at winning the next mandate?

Our client is an established residential property management business with a solid reputation in the South African market. With a strong focus on client relationships, professional service and sustainable portfolio growth, the business offers an environment where experienced property professionals can take real ownership of their work. Rather than spending your days buried in administration, you'll have the support of an established back-office team, allowing you to focus on your clients, the performance of your portfolio and opportunities to grow it. With a flexible working arrangement and a culture that values accountability and independence, this is an opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own desk while still having the backing of a capable team.

As Residential Portfolio Specialist, you'll take responsibility for managing a portfolio of Sectional Title schemes and Homeowners' Associations, acting as the main point of contact for trustees and ensuring that the financial, operational and legislative aspects of each scheme are properly managed. You'll oversee budgets, levy collections, financial reporting, maintenance and contractor performance, while preparing for and attending AGMs, advising trustees and resolving the inevitable challenges that come with community scheme management.

We're looking for an established Sectional Title and HOA Portfolio Manager who has managed a substantial portfolio, ideally exceeding 30 schemes or 1,000 units, and can demonstrate experience in securing new management mandates. You'll need a strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, scheme finances, AGM procedures and trustee relationships, along with the confidence to handle difficult conversations and make sound decisions independently. Paddocks training and exposure to WeConnectU would be advantageous, although neither is essential. What matters is that you're organised, commercially minded, comfortable taking accountability and genuinely enjoy building relationships with the communities you manage. You'll need to be Cape Town-based, comfortable with a predominantly remote working arrangement and willing to travel for the onboard-training.
