Retail Director

Role Description The Retail Director is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site presence in retail locations and work-from-home flexibility. The role is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations, including supervising store performance, ensuring consistent customer service standards, and driving sales across all locations. The Retail Director will lead and support store teams, set clear performance objectives, review key metrics, and implement initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency. This position also includes coordinating merchandising and inventory practices, aligning store activities with company policies, and collaborating with senior leadership on retail strategy and growth plans.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in retail environments, with a strong understanding of store operations and retail best practices.
• Proven team management and leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and staff development.
• Solid background in sales, with the ability to analyze sales data, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to increase revenue.
• Experience in operations management and budgeting, including cost control, resource allocation, and financial planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Familiarity with the retail landscape in Dubai and the wider UAE market is an advantage.
