We are looking for a skilled and creative Roblox Developer to design, build, and improve engaging games on the Roblox platform. You will work closely with our creative and technical teams to transform game concepts into polished, scalable, and enjoyable player experiences.

Success in this role means delivering stable gameplay systems, creating engaging mechanics, improving player retention, and meeting development milestones. This position will play an important role in helping us launch and grow commercially successful Roblox games.

Responsibilities

• Develop Roblox games and gameplay systems using Lua/Luau and Roblox Studio.
• Convert game concepts and design documents into functional game mechanics.
• Build systems such as inventories, quests, leaderboards, rewards, progression, shops, and in-game purchases.
• Integrate Roblox monetization features, including Game Passes, Developer Products, and subscriptions.
• Create responsive user interfaces for desktop, mobile, tablet, and console players.
• Optimize game performance, loading times, networking, and server stability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve gameplay bugs and technical issues.
• Implement secure client-server architecture and protect games against common exploits.
• Work with designers, 3D artists, animators, and other developers to integrate assets and features.
• Analyze player feedback and game data to improve retention, engagement, and monetization.
• Maintain organized, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Support game testing, publishing, updates, and ongoing live operations.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and publishing games on Roblox.
• Strong knowledge of Lua/Luau and Roblox Studio.
• Understanding of Roblox services, RemoteEvents, DataStores, ModuleScripts, and client-server architecture.
• Experience building multiplayer gameplay systems.
• Knowledge of Roblox monetization and virtual economy systems.
• Ability to optimize games for different devices and connection speeds.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with a remote team.
• A portfolio or links to Roblox games you have developed or contributed to are required.
• Experience with Blender, UI/UX design, animation, Git, analytics, or AI-assisted development is a plus.
